On 8th August, 2024 Vidyapeeth New English Medium School (VPNEMS) celebrated Grandparents day with a heartwarming program that combined tradition, talent and fun. The event, designed to honor the cherished role of grandparents, featured a Saraswati Pooja, student’s speeches, cultural performances & engaging games.

The program began with a reverent Saraswati Pooja done by principal of school and grandparents. Students of std I & II Shivraj Yede, Aradhya Sethi, Twinkle Choudhary & Sritheja Gund delivered heart felt speeches, expressing their love, gratitude and admiration for their grandparents. Their words touched the hearts of everyone present, highlighting the invaluable guidance & support that grandparents provide in their lives.

The event continued with a series of vibrant cultural performances. Students presented a beautiful group dance, ‘Dadaji ki Chhadi Hoon Main,’ Dadi Amma…’ followed by a melodies group song. To add a fun and interactive elements to the celebration a musical chair game was organized by sports teachers. Grandparents eagerly participated, enjoying the light-hearted challenge. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners Mrs. Ujjwala Pawar, Mrs.Laxmi Omase, Mrs. Manjusha Raut & Mr.Govindrao Ghule were awarded. Principal of school Mrs. Joysey Joseph gave token of appreciation to the grandparents.
Shivendra Mohite and Ovi Ubale of std II were the anchorers. Whole program was successfully conducted under the guidance of school principal Mrs.Joysey Joseph and Pre-Primary Incharge Mrs. Mala Karande.
